Keeping Windows up to date with the latest security patches has been a focus for ConfigMgr admins since (and even before) the software updates feature was first introduced. Windows 10 has introduced a new software update cadence and also feature update cadence that changes the update approach. Windows Update for Business is a tool that is external to ConfigMgr but an integrated additional option to help with keeping systems updated. Windows Update for Business works whether systems are on-prem or on the internet. This session will focus on Windows Update for Business – what it is, scenarios as to how it can be leveraged and how it integrates with ConfigMgr.
